      The Country Club. Wow, haven't thought about that place in a long time. I remember taking the bus from Santa Monica (yup, Santa Monica to downtown then to the valley) to see the Damned in 1982. Another great show I saw there was Chelsea at about the same time.

        Did y'all know the Country Club was the club in Boogie Nights?
        I happen to have befriended a local who clued me in. Small world there in the valley.

          It was filmed at the Country Club but was supposed to be Hot Traxx. in Van Nuys.
